Casa Don Franco is a social centre for unaccompanied minors from extra UE countries, located in a former rural building in the mainland of Venice. The centre holds both residential and common services, but the core of the building is the old stable, covered with the brick archway roof, resigned as the main space for educational activities. The project preserves some previous materials, such us the old floors and concrete columns, even if not precious, in order to maintain the feeling of different lives of the building in time.
